Ergonomix B.V. was founded in 2021 by Jan Beltman, who had already spent three decades making working environments healthier. The Orthostand applies that experience to a profession where posture had never been treated as a problem worth solving.
Five years on, more than 100 units are in daily use across ten countries, in practices ranging from single-clinician podiatry to multi-site orthopaedic workshops.
We work directly with specialists and with distributors who bring the Orthostand to their own markets.
With an ageing population and fewer students entering the profession, the world faces a looming shortage of foot and lower-limb care specialists. Orthostand sees a future in which podiatrists, pedorthists, orthotists and prosthetists can work longer, healthier and more effectively, with less static strain and better ergonomics.
We equip the world of foot care with ergonomic workstations. We take the static strain out of the specialist's day and improve their health.
